Tickets Unplugged’s box office manager is entirely web-based. It can be accessed from any location or it can be restricted by IP address. Because it is web-based, the only IT intervention required is simply to ensure a viable Internet connection.

Every box office function is governed by a set of permissions that are assigned on an employee-by-employee basis. A short PIN code must be entered for each transaction. So even if a box office cashier were to walk away from the terminal without logging out, a new transaction could not be processed without a valid transaction code.
